This Victorian house once belonged to Dr. Clark. It was moved to the Arboretum and now is a favorite attraction at Fullerton. A challenge to paint because of its intricate design.

A worker rests under a large tree. His wheel barrow and rake are in shadow, a couple of bright openings punctuate the dark foliage to show a warm green lawn. Painted at the Fullerton Arboretum.

A large white shed in the Arboretum is partially hidden by trees. The blue sky in the background fades into a grove of warm colored trees. Depth on the left side of the painting is matched by the large grove of trees beneath the white shed at the right side.

This white building is one of many older wooden structures to be found in the Fullerton Arboretum. It stands along an unpaved road amid a group of trees which partially hide the tower. I painted it to express the feeling of the often dark woods and the vertical white tower that pops out of them.
