One of three paintings done when Laguna Wilderness Park was still only open for scheduled hikes. I got a special pass for a week and was there every day.
Night Scene oil / paper 11" x 15"
Yellow Fields oil / paper 11" x 15"
Eroded Hill, Back Ba oil / paper 11" x 15"
Summer's Lease oil/paper 11" x 15"
Boy in Field, Back Bay oil / paper 11" x 15"
Reflections oil / paper 11" x 15"
View of Back Bay oil / canvas 12" x 16"
Riley Park, Coto de Caza oil/panel 12" x 9"
Painted in a small park in South Orange county on very cloudy day.
Pink Bridge oil/canvas 16" x 20"
A pink bridge spans a blue stretch of water. Looking down from a hillside the water seems to change color as it slides under the bridge.
Carbon Canyon oil on panel 11"x 14"
Carbon canyon amply deserves its name for the many forest fires that have ravaged it over the years. In Spring, when this was painted, a mantle of new growth hides the blackened tree trunks.
Flood Channel oil/paper 10" x 13"
A concrete lined flood channel in downtown Fullerton guarded by barbed wire and shaded by large trees posed a challenge.
Blackstar Canyon oil/canvas 15"x18"
Blackstar Canyon appears neither rugged nor colorful in this view of a nearly dry riverbed in late Spring.
